The European citizens of #Cyprus pay for the decisions of a dysfunctional #EU and an inefficient local political leadership; both, meticulously, in an inexplicable euphoria preach of economic success, that “we are on the right track…”, that “the economy is doing great…”. Nobody though dares to say, that with the slightest market or geopolitical disruption, neither the EU or Cyprus (especially) have in essence at their disposal any tools whatsoever left to react – note that Cyprus is in a worse position from all economic aspects and from most of the 28 EU member-states! |
