Cyprus tops EU view-of-corruption index :huff

Anyone surprised? :roll:
All Cypriot businesses surveyed for a new Eurobarometer report believe corruption is widespread, which makes the island the leading EU country in this category, closely followed by Greece and Romania with 96 per cent each.
Just over one in ten businesses in Denmark share this view.
The percentage has gone up to 100 per cent in Cyprus from 84 per cent in 2015, the biggest change in the EU during this time period.

Remember this article;

The word 'hipocrites' comes to mind!

However credit where credit is due (and I rarely credit politicians) Mr Phedonas is doing a great job in Pafos region to try to sort it out. Pity he doesn't get more support.

He might be doing some things right, but just lately he is being an idiot. Taking down signs (on private land) for businesses, whilst leaving Cypriot businesses who put signs on public highways and even in the road outside their businesses to prevent other than customers from parking there is so hypocrytical. Personally, I would like to know why he has allowed the sign on the TOK road at a restaurant he eats at to remain there. He is no less corrupt than the others.
