 Hello EveryoneMy husband and I are visiting Paphos In march and was wondering if smoking is allowed in restaurants (inside)? we are non smokers and have not visited Cyprus since the non smoking ban was enforced and realise that some food establishments make there own rules where smoking is concerned but don't want to go into restaurants if the rules are relaxed |

Smoking is not permitted inside cafes, Bars or Restaurants, however in summer they tend to have external areas set aside for diners who wish to smoke whilst dining, hope this answers your question. |

Although not allowed by law there are still various bars etc allow smoking inside Especially now it colder and the plastic screens are rolled down but in general they are few and far between. |

It varies from establishment to establishment and if the windows or doors are open then still expect some cigarette smoke to drift inside. I have found that the only completely guaranteed smoke free restaurants are in some of the hotels. |
