There was also an article by Bejay Browne in the Cyprus Mail last week:

Thank you Martin

Can now go Christmas shopping for the children

Reading the above
This year if you do not have a shoe box ...that is okay
You can put into a bag or stocking instead
Which means larger presents can be bought that would not have fitted into a shoe box
they are also requesting dried food and tins of food
And food gift vouchers so that families can have warm meals
Merry Christmas all
:christmas :christmas :christmas

Just a thought

We added into our gift boxes last year
Battery operated Christmas lights with a set of batteries
Having asked this year at Solidarity was this okay
We where told that these battery operated lights where loved
Such a cheap item added to their box of presents that brought light and joy to a home with no Christmas lights at all
Happy shopping to all
And
Christmas joy to all :christmas :christmas :christmas
