Well did it blow a hooley where you live?

We had the Full Monty…Thunder, lightning, torrential rain and very high winds :rain

I lost 2 substantial branches off a tree and had to recover an item of patio furniture from the pool this morning :doh

Sorry that you had a little problem Dave (but, evidently, you can swim ;) ).
I slept, peacefully, through any storm which might have occurred.
This morning, however, all the plants seem to have 'perked up' ....What a bit of water does for them, aye ? ... Precious :-)

Extremely windy with torrential rain, thunder & lightning in Kissonerga BUT not cold!

PIK1 reports Peyia is without power so may be worth checking on any elderly neighbours.

:-(

Good idea, DollyDaydream1 ....I hope power is restored for them & you by breakfast-time ( EAC is fairly good at fixing problems ... Praise, where praise is due ... sometimes ;) ).

After my early morning 'dip' I think the bottom half of me is finally getting some feeling back.

The last time I experienced wind this strong was after a boiled egg, butter bean and sprout Madras

Ok on the edge of Sea Caves, my landlord lives near the old cinema, at 2am this morning the storm ripped his cold water tank off his roof, trying to sort that mess out at tat time with the wind and rain he was not a happy chap.

If he is a good landlord .... I hope that he can recover from the storm soon.
Storms do not differentiate between good & bad ... Only secure & unstable :-(

We sailed home from Israel to Limassol through that storm ...last night
Argh!
Flipping heck what a roller coaster sail with 30 foot swells
And one wave that hit us side on, sent water over our 9th floor bedroom
With the ship rolling heavily from side to side from the hit
Thank goodness all home safe and sound
To a pool covered in leaves lol
