A well debated discussion the other night (in the local off course) was about whether, when you check the various zillion flight websites for prices, they know you have done and hike the prices to you for that particular flight if you keep checking on it enough.
I came down on the side that says they don't.
Can anyone prove me right. Its serious I,ve got a Carlsberg staked on it

Same here ...
Family searched the internet sites and compared several flights (which seemed to increase each time they checked back) for UK/Paphos/UK from a UK iP address and then they phoned me.
I booked for them on a Cyprus iP ... and got it for the original price they were quoted :-)

We always us the VPN when looking at flight prices of Cyprus airlines or prices of flights from Cyprus or from/to Tel Aviv.

Also if you have Google Chrome, you can hit Ctrl+Shift+N (Command+Shift+N on Mac) any time to enter the Incognito mode. In this mode any web site would think you're there for the first time, whatever cookies you have already. Much faster than to call a friend or to connect to the VPN either ))

Just use different browsers.... I have 4 browsing systems and make sure your system is never automatically logged into your Google account!

Thought no this is not right so I did the exercise, checked the price from Paphos to Manchester and the cost was £385.12, then waited 20 minutes did the exercise again, same details and same seats and the price was £410.82, I was stunned. So used Bing search engine and did the same again, guess what? it came out at the original price, what a scam.
Will bear this in mind when we book for real.
