It would seem the probe initiated in 2014 into collusion between the various oil companies to fix prices, has finally delivered it's verdict!

It would seem that the fine has been 'moderated' following a Supreme Court challenge by the companies, down from the initial 43m euros to the current 21m - hardly punitive IMHO.

I'm wondering just how much the companies made & indirectly the Government, during the somewhat protracted period it has taken to reach this judgement?

We have started buying our fuel over in the "north". There it is one price as set by their "government" and quite a bit cheaper than this side.

Price fixing is not just a Cyprus thing it is world wide, as normal citizens we cannot do anything about it.
