It would seem the probe initiated in 2014 into collusion between the various oil companies to fix prices, has finally delivered it's verdict!
http://cyprus-mail.com/2017/11/15/fuel-companies-fined-price-fixing/ It would seem that the fine has been 'moderated' following a Supreme Court challenge by the companies, down from the initial 43m euros to the current 21m - hardly punitive IMHO.
I'm wondering just how much the companies made & indirectly the Government, during the somewhat protracted period it has taken to reach this judgement?
