| Post subject: | Motorway tunnel to Limassol |
Many locals seem to think a passport is needed when going through, however does anyone have any particular rites when passing through. We hold our breath and make a wish. Does anyone else have any rites. |

Does anyone else have any rites. Yes. Keep to your lane. No overtaking. Do not exceed 80kph. Switch the headlights on. Then pray .... as others are using the tunnel, too !

see who can hold there breath till the other side .. 3 of my friends and 1 pensioner have lost consciousness its great fun ...

As most drivers don't seem to take any notice of the speed limit through the tunnel, it is worth noting that on the return journey to Paphos the police frequently run a radar check on the exit from the tunnel. |

Yes, I have seen that several times, and have had much pleasure seeing them being pulled over after having overtaken me in the tunnel.
