Hi all,
I'm looking for a bit of advice or suggestions on where to buy some Bulgarian lev.
It seems the exchange Kiosks around Pafos don't do them at all.
So, firstly would I be better off getting some at the bank here, or wait until we get to Bulgaria.
Secondly do they take the Euro in Bulgaria as they are in the E.U.
Thanks for any info.

Get them from a bank as 99percent of trade is done in Leva.

The last time we were in Bulgaria, the girls in receptiion gave a better (unoficial) rate out of their purses than the official rate in Banks. DON'T buy/exchange notes in the street, they may well be non-Bulgarian in the other script.
