As could have occurred in your post containing "John M." or "John W" ?
Only one person can clarify which is correct.

This is the last post by me on this subject, You all need to know about who you are championing and at what cost, the costs are your lives be it yours or your loved ones.
Another question before I get on, would you employ an unregistered tradesman for example an electrician, no you would not.
The information I am about to give you is not trouble causing it is for your own benefit, all information you can research for yourselves then make up your own mind.

To be a paramedic you must be registered with British Association of Immediate Care Scheme (BASICS) or Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC), this is also to route out any unsavoury people, you must also hold a Government Licence, also attend regular (annual or bi-annual retraining courses), again check this out for yourselves ask Peyia medical centre or ask his new company Blue Cross.

John Thompson was an ex military medic and offshore medic licensed to treat rig workers and anyone associated with oil or gas rigs or of that ilk, he is not registered as a Paramedic and to call himself or give the impression or use the motif Paramedic in his title or name is illegal, the penalty is a heavy fine and a possible custodial sentence be it here in Cyprus or the UK.

To practice or be associated with any aspect of Paramedic you must be registered, he claims to be a member of British Association of Immediate Care Scheme (Basics) with his registration number 07870, this is untrue (check it out yourself), he is not a member and the register is up to date for anyone to see.
He may have been registered but his membership has lapsed why that I do not know, it could be for many reasons be it not attending the refresher courses or anything else, leave that for you to think about.

To run or own a company he must also have the necessary qualifications and be registered with an appropriate organisation be it here in Cyprus or back in the UK, if registered here in Cyprus he must have a degree in his specialist sector, here in Cyprus he must attend a three year course and hold the necessary approval licenses, check the Cyprus register DRCOR, guess what no registration.
If you do not believe me then I have given you three sites to look at, another one is Gov.UK that site does not lie research yourself then make up your own minds.

I have rankled a few people with my quest for justice and help that I am not sorry for, I am only sorry that you trust an unqualified person with potentially your lives!, this forum is a debating informative forum, as one member said if you do not want debate do not put it on, it is also a forum where we can protect our own and any others we care about. It is a free forum and it is up to you to form your own opinions and I will respect that.

Well of course he has said he is not a registeref Paramedic - Hermes has referred you to his post on PL where he states his qualifications and experience.
Another ExPat witch hunt - you disgust me and please ban me Neil along with all the others. I have been a member of this forum for over 10 years but no longer and I sincerely wish you have no members left who gang up to destroy people.

Can I just say lowvoltage...who on earth in their right mind....would want to do business with you ...when you air and criticize everything about a business on an open forum! I am stunned and gobsmacked by the unethical way that you conduct yourself

In fact I have never come across anything so absolutely unbuisness like ever before

Business talks are for private chats ...not open forums!

John...you have no reason to answer to this forum or any other forum for who and what you are.

May your new business venture do well and continue to save lives in Paphos

Fully agree - :clap

Once again I am posting in defence of my Character and Honesty especially for lowvoltage, this is an extract from what John has put on this site, well if you go on to read the rest of his reply he does not tell us anything new as from the last farce he posted when it was first sold.

I sent him a private message asking him to clarify a few points which he in my opinion has failed to do, one of the questions was about his qualifications, what are they and where did he get them. My reason for this was to establish his legitimacy in running what appears to be an honest service and to establish if his qualifications are legal here in Cyprus.

My daughter is high up in the legal medical system in the UK, she can check his credentials within minutes and she has agreed to do this for me. (obviously in strict confidence)
This check would establish once and for all if he is genuine which would stop the doubters, if he was not qualified expose him as a fraud, as yet he has not provided me any information.

Now for those who feel he does a good job, ask yourself one question, would you put your life in someone's hands who was not qualified, I would not, he may be a very nice genuine guy but mud sticks and doubts creep in.

My daughter also informed me he would have to come back to the UK once a year to renew his qualifications (too long a subject to explain here) I know the staff at Peyia medical centre do go back, if in doubt ask Nicky at Peyia medical centre.
John to help you and the members send me your details by PM, I will keep them in confidence and it will help resolve this issue.

So your daughter is "high up and can check his credentials for you(obviously in strict confidence)". So, if she does this and presumably gives you the information, isn't she breaking her supposed code of conduct?

There were 3 ambulances at the Evangelimos this morning, 2 in the allocated parking under canvas sunshade opposite the main entrance the other with Phoenix Evangelimos signage was in use and parked at the casualty entrance and a patient been attended too by a nurse and a male in blue uniform.
So I assume someone was glad of the service been provided .

Boyatwork, I said I would not post again on this subject, but as you are a newbie with no location a newbie with one post your comments are of limits, you are brave hurling insults from a desk top, I will not resort to reciprocal name calling but all I will say as a newbie get your facts straight first then have the decency to contact me civilally. Other members have voiced their opinions some civil and some not, those who replied civilly I respect and admire there candour but those who are rude well no more said.

Am I missing something here? Can't see the posting you are referring to, unless it has been deleted?
