There is an interesting opinion piece in the Cyprus Mail today regarding the use of propaganda and how it usually satisfies short term advantage for some at the expense of truth and reality. I would recommend everyone to read and digest. We live in an age of 24 hour news where it appears that those who shout loudest are heard most (and actually believed!) irrespective of what lies or half truths they peddle. It is time that these people who make wild claims and promises are held to account and stop vilifying and making scapegoats of people who don't have the same platform or money. We should always respect history as it has a knack of repeating itself. |

I feel very often that short term propaganda is usually seen through by many however more evil I think is the long term indoctrination by slowly slowly poisoning peoples minds. |

Hi Tanny Agreed however the difficult for many people is deciphering what is propaganda and what is fact as often it is delivered as fact. We live in a world were increasingly people read headlines and not the actual story. Often very different! |
