I saw this article & for some reason it brought back memories of the sex for luncheon vouchers scandal that emerged in 1970-80's;

http://cyprus-mail.com/2017/06/18/police-condemned-buying-sex-uncover-pimping/

Cynthia Payne was the madam providing the 'services', duly recorded by Wikipedia;

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cynthia_Payne

No doubt the police role in Cyprus is considered 'work experience' or maybe 'on the job training' perhaps? ;)

I am sure I still have a few somewhere along with the never used petrol rationing coupons from 1977 or was it 78. I am sure they are in the same box as the dot matrix printer. :sunny

Ha ha!, I remember getting these when I was Factory Accountant for a well known burger company. We could use them in our local superstore, may have been Sainsbury or Tesco - over 20 years ago, memory fails me! Very useful they were, sadly stopped not long after I joined the company :-(

I also remember Green Shield Stamps, my then husband was a taxi driver so accumulated tons of em from petrol stations, had some pretty good stuff through them as I recall!!

I still have a knife block and a kitchen tool set bought with green shield stamps 47 years ago, still as good as the day I got them.

No, it was a company wide decision, not factory level!

It always amazed me the outlets which accepted luncheon vouchers, many of them seemingly unconnected with lunch!!

I was thinking to cut the banner off the bottom of the page and use sticky back plastic to change it to 4.99. I guess he might rumble that though.
