Geoff.

At the poor wages they pay our troops, I'm not surprised they are begging in the streets.

Surprised at your comment. This is not a satirical subject, it is deadly serious, and the newspaper in question should consider the implications of this, and become far more responsible. Because of this newspaper's revelations, if more people die from any more terrorist actions, will you applaud yourself, or be ashamed? Sometimes, I wonder at the credibility of some people.

Many thanks for that.
IMHO it was irresponsible for a newspaper to publish that story. Whether or not you agree with deploying SAS personnel in that way or not (I do) it can only put them at risk.
Geoff.

To take this one further, contrary to belief terrorists are not stupid, with this revelation they will be aware of down and outs, if they see anyone fitting this description they will go else where.
Two trains of thought is it gutter press just printing items for sensationalism, or has it been done deliberately to ward off any potential attack to try to scare the terrorists, but the mentality they have it would not phase them.

It might just be that the UK has more homeless on the streets than there are SAS personnel?

Now it is up to the terrorists to spot which is true, I like it!

Feel lucky today punks? :pow

It's not just the Papers.
I remember the BBC announcing which targets were intended during the Falklands War. The Argentinians were waiting for us.
