Lemba and Chloraka are having another go at recycling. Should shrink wrap go in the pmd?

Should the shrink wrap plastic go in the plastic/metal/drinks carton recycle Bag? Some say shrink wrap cannot be recycled

MM this is from Manchester council, not quite the same as here I know but basically tells you what is recyclable and you can probably work out which bin it goes in here

Sorry M! Just checked it through and cling film is not recyclable, can't find shrink wrap. But guess that's not say that it's the same here.

Our dustmen (sorry, refuse executives) insist that anything made of plastic can, and should, go in PMD. This arose when we tried to put a dismantled plastic cupboard into a communal bin at our complex and they took it out. The fact that the cupboard wasn't made of recyclable material didn't seem to make any difference.

Ours don't differentiate anything in a range from dead cats to microwaves, if it's in the bin it is removed, simple.
