Does anyone know if there is a waiting list for a PO Box in Pafos at the moment, and if so how long?

Depends on how you want to travel, there is a good one in Chloraka next door to Premier Electrical, this is the one I use and costs me €59 per year, I pay an additional €12 per year for text delivery notification, saves me going down when there is no mail.

There are plenty of boxes and no waiting list - The company is called APELIA MAIL tel 26-911554 or www.apeliamailboxes.com

Hope this helps.

I got taken inside the main post office at Anavargos the other week to find something that got blown inside from my box and noticed plenty of boxes sealed on the inside - presumably vacant one.

A box at the main post office costs around €35 per year.

Hi Alan, Yes probably, but where I live Peyia has a long waiting list, the nearest that suits me is this one. Another service they do is collect my parcels and registered mail om the main post office in Paphos, until Peyia has a spare one will have to use this.

I use Apelia and can highly recommend them. I don't think 59 Euros a year is at all expensive for the service they provide. They will collect
all your parcels from the post office, they will put a stamp on your letters to the UK and post them (for the price of the stamp) etc.
For me they are ideal - two minutes in the car from where I live.

For expensive - check out the cost of the Royal Mail redirection service from a UK address to a Cyprus address!

I have used the post office in old Paphos for 6 years now. Due to the works at the old premises, they are situated just down the road from M & S on the same side of the road. Excellent service there for 35 euros a year.
