I have recently purchased an apartment in Paphos, although I paid 200 euro upfront for water I have no idea how I should go about paying the future bill? I have never paid for my electricity either!! Please can someone advise how I can set up a direct debit to pay the utility bills or do I have to attend their offices in person?

thanks

Contact the agent/solicitor or whoever advised you, this should be part of the service.

Your local village council (who issue the water bills) should have the facility to pay the water online and set up a DD, electricity is paid direct to AIK/EAC and details on how to do that are on the EAC website here :

Probably better to go the respective offices in person as payment will be set up there and then.

Paphos Water Board is on the left side of the main road going up from Kings Avenue Mall towards the old town. Just past Angel Guardians Funeral Home, take the next left and it is next door to Alpha Bank and there is a car park opposite. However, if you live in another area of Paphos eg Chloraka then you need to go to the local municipality office.

AIK link to map here - select Pafos: https://www.eac.com.cy/EN/ContactUs/Pages/default.aspx

When I changed my bank account recently, the bank gave me forms, with all the relevant account details, to take to the electricity and water people to update my direct debit. I'm presuming they do the same for new ones.
