I'm voting on the domestic policies, not just for the Leader or Brexit policy.
Hence my 'X' goes against the Conservative candidate in my Constituency (Ashfield).
Currently a Labour seat, I am hoping that will change.
It would be interesting to have a Forum poll - is that possible Neil?
Geoff.

A poll on what? We already have one, it's called an election

Maybe we should have a poll to see if we should have a poll.

I was, but I have gone back to the Conservative Party and have renewed my Membership.
I was wondering if we could have a forum poll:
"How will you/would you vote in the June 8th UK General Election?

Conservative
Labour
Liberal Democrat
SNP
Greens
Other"

Geoff.

Ok maybe it’s just me BUT I honestly can’t see why knowing how many forum member vote for which party will make any difference to anything.
A poll won’t be in any way accurate since many member feel their vote is private and between them and their conscience so won’t participate.

OK, I just thought it might generate some interest. Other Cyprus forums have such polls.
For Zorbathejock: If you read my earlier post it says "..will vote/WOULD vote.."
The idea being to see what most on this forum are, i.e. what political persuasion; whether they have a vote or not.
Geoff.

I don't think we are supposed to mention other forums Uncle D; but the main one at this end (east end) of the Island does.
There are others who do also.
Geoff.

Even professional, randomly sampled and impartial opinion polls have been a bit wide of the mark recently, so some localised ad hoc survey isn't going to show anything other than your own political allegiance (which is usually best kept to oneself)
