Can anyone please advise what official opening and closing times apply (if any) to swimming pools on holiday complexes.

Had a situation last night when six people were diving in our pool at 11.30 last night.

I think noise hours are 10.30

thanks in advance

Jon

It's up to the resident's committee to set the rules and hope they're adhered to!! Regardless there are ALWAYS selfish people who consider themselves exempt, and even though you have to show a little sympathy for holidaymakers for whom it's a novelty the people they're renting from or through should be made aware of the situation!!

My complex pool closes at 8pm, and I've never had any complaints that my tenants are abusing that.

We have 8pm as the close of pool facilities.

However as I'm on the Committee of our complex it never ceases to amaze me as how many people do not think that rules apply to them.
It's not just holiday tenants that flaunt them, it's the long term rentals mainly, but also some owners.

One tenant has even had a solicitor's letter sent to the Committee to tell us to stop harassing her.
We only knocked on the door to let her know some maintenance work was being carried out and her electricity would be off for 30 minutes.

Tenants seem to have more rights than owners.

Because of this I am putting my apartment on the market this weekend. I will put it on at about 25% less than market value for a quick sale.

Big Nev

Paras 2 and 4 I agree with you, para 5 is a sad reflection of what communal loving is all about.

Good luck with the sale.
