Chill simion, life too short for such a knee-jerk to a little obstacle. The works will be complete soonish and general flow will resume. In general it is well managed and the contraflow good. The speed bumps may or not remain after but at least it is an effective calming measure.

You dont know me chum, so your insults mean nothing, I know one thing if I hated every thing to do with Cyprus I would be on the first plane out, so by you continuing to live in a country you obliviously hate.. says more about you, dont you think

Hey man Chill out have a beer, this is Cyprus and nothing gets done yesterday today or tomorrow, we all know that, it is what drew us to this Island in the first place. This is what we love about this Island, its laid back with sunshine and good beer and wine, must go now and lie down been busy today.

Don't worry about it. This is Cyprus and things have a habit of (eventually) resolving themselves.

Not for simion1023, it's not at all calming!
Simion, look at it this way. At least there are temporary traffic lights there, it could have been left as a "free for all" with nothing controlling the traffic flow at all.

One of the villagers told me that the pipes they are laying were meant to be installed when they renewed the road a few years back but seems they were forgot. Those living close to the road in Kitrikes and Marathounta are woken at the crack of dawn by the power generators situated for the duration of the works which I would find more infuriating than waiting for a few seconds to be let out at the junction.
FYI
The speed bumps are a permanent feature

We have also suffered noise, dust, inconvenience, and living in a bomb site for the past 17 months in Old Paphos, and they
start the noise at 6am most mornings!

Good news on the Armou roadworks issue. They have now moved further along the Episkopi road, leaving the junction clear. The northbound diversion is well signposted and on good surface. Well done those contractors.
