Well the forum has been running for a while now and how do folks see it.I think it has come on leeps and bounds what with coffee meets and taverna meetups.

Do like the monthly letter. What do you think :?:

Love it all - makes me feel that I'm already there. Well done to all the guys and gals who work so hard for us and make it such a great place to visit (only wish I could access it at work!) :greetings

I totally agree with Dawn - it's a great forum with a great mix of information and light banter. So glad I found it.
Keep it up everybody. :clap

Great forum and a great relief not to have to worry too much about draconian measures being dished out for saying things like "I wish Tony Blair would try walking on water with a lead weight round his neck"

That'll be the 'no drink' talking then, Gary? :!:

It's OK I suppose.................when you are not actually living in Paphos, and can only get online to glean any info about what is actually happening there, and to neglect your family and your normal routine, and be soooo addicted that you have to get online at any cost.....................or you would quite simply go out of your mind.......................!

I could always agree with Gary!

I think this site is great. I have posted more on here in 3 months than on another site in 4 years!!! Don't feel a bit intimidated on here. I am also an addict!!

Good on ya Lyn,
That's how it should be, but I hope you can understand that I get very little from this site and only post cos I feel sorry for a lot of you.

Pam, Seems you are starting to yawn, you must be older than I thought and obviously you can't stand the pace.
Get yourself to bed before the toolbox comes home

No Pam, I'm beyond help !
I'm an ugly bugger when I go to bed and I'm an even uglier bugger when I wake up !
But I'm neither to court nor marry so why should I care.

Glad that you like the site. When I was asked to moderate on here I thought it had potential, but it was in the lap of the membership as to how it would run.

It is down to how the members shape it. The boundaries and guidelines are there as a safety net, but I feel that the members show respect for each other on here without having to be slapped down for having an opinion.

Judge - I am glad you found us and joined. You crack me up.

I am glad you all found the site. We wouldn't have a site if no-one bothered to contribute.

I've said it before, but I've been amazed how quickly this place has taken off - over 33,000 posts in a little over 4 months is pretty remarkable really, and I think we've got a decent balance of info and banter.

Everyone has kept it nice and friendly too, which isn't all that common in forums in my experience, and the regular meetings have proven really popular - I think it's brilliant that a place like this can help people make new friends, gives new people coming over a starting point for meeting people etc - long may it continue! :congrats

I'd just like to echo Martins & Verity's post & say if it wasn't for you the member, we wouldn't be as popular as we are & long may it continue, so a big Thank you to you all for your contributions :clapping :clapping :clapping

I too like the forum. Perhaps not as addicted as some of you (well, Frank anyway) but I echo the sentiments of Capt F, great balance between information and banter.

Also appears to be less friction between contributors - less criticism, and more tolerance of other people's views. Long may this continue.

Kevin
