Goodness, what a shambles. To have a leader of a political party who does not even have a seat in Westminster
None of the leaders of the Scottish parties have a seat in Westminster.
It is difficult to see why a devolved region has any seats at Westminster ... other than for strictly regional issues.

Scotland is not a devolved region. Westminster is the UK's parliament and should have representatives from all the nations of the UK.

"not a devolved region" ? !!!
Then what is the point of Sturgeon ?
The 56 SNPs just try to 'poke their noses' into matters related to the other countries ..... but those countries have no say in Holyrood !
A bit 'one-sided', isn't it ?

Scotland is a nation. Scottish MP's are not allowed to vote on matters that are deemed to be English only.

As I frequently watch the BBC Parliament programmes, I have yet to find an example.
Can you specify any such events, please ?

Actually, it is not that they are not allowed to vote [it is obviously illegal to attempt to prevent an MP voting, under any conditions], it is merely a convention that they do not do it.

In fact over the last two general elections, the SNP have made it quite clear that there are circumstances where they would be quite prepared to break that convention where a matter conflicts with their overall socialist principles, or where they perceive that English budgetary decisions could have even the remotest impact on Scotland [education fees/ student loans was one of those issues I seem to recall].

In the lack of any EVEL legislation, this interference would be performed at absolutely no consequential cost to the SNP, of course

Agreed, Pete G.
That's why I cannot think of any event where the SNP have adhered to their agreement.
No morals !

Battle Busgate investigation dropped, ergo last election perfectly democratic, hence calling EU referendum perfectly legitimate and you can all now vote for Theresa at this new election with a clear conscience

Wonder why none of the political parties have promised to sort out the Tax Avoidance fiasco, it would be very easy to form the opinion that they're all in on it.

Don't forget the 'Care Home', Dave ..... The HoL.
Some sign in, claim their pay & expenses ... and don't even get as far as taking their seats in the Chamber !
Instead, they whizz off to The Ivy, or similar venue, to spend their ill-gotten gains !

I asked a local UKIP candidate what UKIP were going to do about Tax Avoidance, he replied to me about the book with the rules on UK tax covers 50,000 pages.
