Well thought i would just share this as it is nearly first year over for Kirsten at University. We cannot believe where the time has gone.Only 2 more to go.Guess i will have to dig deep as it is summer ball soon for the end of Uni and kirsten has progressed so well.

She is just finishing her placement next week and was observed teaching the class on her own today and the assesor was well pleased.I have read all her assessors reports and we are so proud. One more wek and kirsten will holiday in cyprus and then return to move out of hall of residence to a new house with friends.

We are so glad that she has chosen to do BA Hons primary teacher and then she will be free to do as she wishes. We are going out for quick drink tonight as i am at work tomorrow early.

1 year down 2 to go

My word Frank

Where indeed has the time gone? I remember when I was at yours last year, and Kirsten was showing me the sparkly red shoes she had bought for her leaving ball - and now she's almost done her first year at Uni.

Congratulations to her, and as for you and Maggie - one year closer to Cyprus! See you soon.

Pleased to hear she is doing so well, it just makes it all worth while and I know how you feel Frank a very proud Dad and rightly so.
In a couple of years time we will be talking about her Graduation and saying the same: "does'nt time fly".

Jan :) :)

Proud dad indeed!

Kirsten is being very brave going into teaching in this day and age - teachers do a very valuable/undervalued job.

How lucky is she going to Cyprus for 15 weeks?

Enjoy your night out Frank, and you have every right to be proud. :D

Hope you enjoyed your evening out Frank. Just wait until you see her in her cap and gown. I was so proud and heartbroken all at the same time. Proud of my son, and heartbroken that his Nan - who adored both our boys - hadn't lived to see his achievement.

She will do you proud.

You've every right to feel proud Frank, your daughter is a lovely girl.

You are right though that year has passed so by so quick. I remember how gorgeous Kirsten looked in her ball dress last year....

No doubt we will catch up with her again when she is over
