Sky sent out an update for the Now boxes that removes third party apps. So that's it folks.

Would appear to be correct.
The bar stewards!
May I thank Number6 for his help in originally getting Filmon sideloaded onto our NOW TV
box, it has made viewing this last winter so much more enjoyable.
Geoff.
P.S. Surely some whizz on computers etc can devise a way to disable/uninstall the SKY update,
so we can then re-install Filmon (??)

I have the MyGica box from Premier Electrical, which has all BBC,ITV etc + also all Sky Sports, + loads of other tv programmes too numerous to mention, and of course, thousands of films. Have had it for 18 months now and a really good investment.

Yes indeed, plus we have the NOW TV Entertainment package also.
But of course no live Ch4 or Ch5.
To avoid using a PC, Tablet, or Laptop to get Filmon or Camposat, I wondered about getting a
ROKU Box (which is what the NOW TV box actually is) and sideload that with Filmon.
Otherwise you are into Android etc boxes with Kodi and illegal apps.
Geoff.

I use a notebook attached to my TV and get filmon via www.viewtelly.com , so it is still around.

It is only blocked from NOW TV boxes.
Should still be OK on whatever other device you use.
Geoff.
