Hello and a happy new year to one and all, sadly we won't be over until June 2017 but we enjoyed our visit in May. :cheers

We got the long brass tube that was under the Mantle piece when we took out the Yorkshire range, we bought some rockets from the corner shop and proceeded to fire the rockets (using the brass tube) that were aimed at various targets including our old school. :pow

It has been very heart-warming due to the very welcoming comments regarding my return, unfortunately the predictable two had to post their usual unpleasant comments, I just hope that Neil this time takes action against the perpetrators and not the victim.
Once again many thanks to those who posted the welcoming comments, Val & I would love to meet as many as possible if you're in Cyprus when we're over in June.

OK, I've been following this thread and not fully understood the nuances. And that's probably why I don't understand this (what I perceive) under-current of animosity towards Bassman.

I understand he was banned. But there was an amnesty. And now he is back. Fair enough.

Given that there has been an amnesty, shouldn't we forgive and forget? And give Bassman second chance?

You have to look for the common denominator namely two members who have already sniped several times.

Well said :clap The owner and the moderator on the site have given the amnesty. Why not trust their judgement?
I can't see anything that Bassman has said so far that can be classed as objectionable, and am sure if left alone
instead of being attacked will "behave" himself!
