Which is very sad, but he was 96 and never, to my knowledge, wore a gold bikini!

What has a gold bikini or age got to do with anything?

We do have an ever increasing number of celebrities - some worthy of the "title", others of whom we haven't heard of recently (or even at all)

Unfortunately we still have the same number of days in the year, so yeah we are going to have probably the same number of celebrities dying next year as we did this (maybe even more so )

When we have Richard Adams and Liz Smith popping their clogs in their 90's I'm not so sure it should come as a surprise.

If George Michael and Carrie Fisher shuffle off their mortal coil a bit sooner maybe we should tighten up on our recreational drugs policy or maybe re examine the whole cult of "celebrity" ?

Where's your heart Ilex ? It's just a thing lots of us do , we do not know these people , but lots of us feel the pain when they pass .

It is indeed sad, but that's life.

No one more heartbroken or upset than myself if a friend, relative or neighbour dies, and I'm certainly not happy someone has died, but if I was to get upset and eulogise every time a celebrity I had never met died I wouldn't have the time to walk my rescue dogs or do some good for people who really do need assistance?
