  So this is where you all are :celeb2 I'm still alive and kicking. Had 6 chemos and after the 4th I had no cancer in the lymph nodes above my collar bones, armpits (sorry) and the tumour in my abdomen had shrunk to 1 cm from the size of a football. Everyone is very optimistic. I feel very well but still can't do everything I used to - yet! - this could of course be sheer idleness :celeb2 Have a full CT scam on Monday and 7th, and hopefully last, chemo on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Will talk and chat soon

Dorothy :dogdance

Thank you everyone for your support - Verity - where are you :celebrate Glad I found you all - any reason for the mass exodus????? God I'm slow - but I blame it on the chemo - thats as good an excuse as I will ever have and it has 'no sell by date' :P

I will need to read how to get a photo and how to get a signature - but for now I am too idle - honesty is the best policy.

Talk soon

Hi Dorothy. I am here and glad to hear that things are going so well with you. I think about you often, but have waited for you to feel ready to face the world of cyberspace again. You are in my prayers.

There has been no mass exodus, just a different approach to a familiar theme. Many people still post on other sites - some of us can't, even if we wanted to. This face look bovvered?

Are you still over in the East? And what about your daughter? Where is she now? It would be good to catch up. Unfortunately it can't be over chocolate cake any more - unless it is gluten free, of course.

Take care.

Dorothy that is brilliant news. Hope the next scan goes well will be thinking of you. My husband Ken was diagnosed with terminal cancer last August but has since been on 5 months of chemotherapy and the tumour shrunk so much they were able to operate and they managed to remove the remaining piece. We are therefore awaiting another scan to know definitely they managed to remove it all. Positive thinking is the way forward.
