Post subject: | Its going to be a bit of an adventure-Wed 3 February 2016 |
Hi Folks This Wednesdays walk returns to the small town Polis which we have included in our Walk programme many times. We have previously visited Polis town itself, the Archaeological sites, campsite and started walks around Prodromi with starting points of Polis. This week we are starting from another part of Polis and taking in some areas around the immediate area we haven't visited before. This is a new walk for 2016 so its a bit of an adventure into new territory for the walking group. Christine and Richard, our walk leaders describe the walk below: 'We walk up the road towards Pelathousa for a short distance then take the track. This takes us round the back of Polis and below Pelathousa which can be seen in the hills above. The walk is not difficult just a few undulations, with nice views over Polis and the bay towards Neo Chorio'. Sound interesting? Why don't you come along on Wednesday and see a little bit more of Polis. If you haven't been to Polis before I can assure you its a lovely day out, spend the day with us walking in the morning and then moving on back to Polis to Art Café for drink/Lunch. A quirky little place, just off Polis Square that I think you will like. Put us in your diary for a memorable day out, not forgetting free exercise and some social networking with other walkers.
