The good lady was driving our youngest to school this morning and, having dropped him off, was waiting to pull out of the school on to the main road when, out of the corner of her eye she noticed the driver of the large 4x4 turning in to the school struggling to turn his steering wheel without spilling any milk from the bowl of cereal that he was eating!

Sadly it was just out of shot of the dash cam. :(

When I saw the thread's title I thought it was going to be something unusual.

I have seen no end of kids standing between seats and ladies driving whilst on the phone and with babies on their laps, but I didn't realise that Russians had cereal for breakfast!

Band, sadly nothing, nothing, nothing whatsoever will ever surprise me about the conduct of drivers arriving and departing this school. Lunatics in charge of the asylum come to mind. I am well used to driving defensively here, but when I'm around that school every antenna is on prime alert! Not a day passes without me being startlingly amazed by the stupid things the drivers there do, particularly given that they are dropping off and picking up THEIR children!!

I remember a few weeks ago seeing a Lambhorgini - of Back to the Future fame?- parking on the corner as you turn into the school. I saw as she parked that not one child was belted in, as she opened the doors the children clambered out regardless of traffic passing 3 ways very close to the car, she exited the car with no thought whatsoever for the children scrabbling about in the road, but was more concerned with showing off the car to friends nearby.

I won't comment on what her nationality may have been for fear of causing offence, but the miniscule dress, 6 inch heels, hair, makeup, jewellery - at 7.20 a.m. - didn't quite seem to point to English or Cypriot, and she was way too tall and blonde to be Chinese!!

Where the dickens are their priorities??? No, it's OK, don't bother answering that!!

Thanks Big Bev, knew I'd got it wrong! It was one where the doors lift upwards.

I would imagine the female driver wouldn't buy a common sense for her hubby money, but maturing, aging, while nursing kids ?
Mother nature instincts to protect own children should be a part of her intellect !

The type of car is totally inadequate for the given purpose; if her man have money for glamour car(s), where is his willingness to protect his kids from road's accidents?

Why not buy her a Tahoe or Suburban to safely transportation to/from school ?

For some, there is nothing more important than the "right label"

Indeed! Idiot being the polite label that I would use.
