Hi Guys
We have a double sided log burner and only burn good wood ( not pine ) .
But the glass after one days use is always black .
Is there something we can apply to the glass to prevent this or for ease of cleaning
Thanks
Les

We find whatever we burn it ends up black - we clean it with Famozo and scrunched up old newspaper then finish off with kitchen towel!

We use a damp cloth or sponge, dipped in the wood ash. Comes up a dream.

Increase the air flow, then the extra heat should burn the soot of the glass.

The glass in ours dose this sometimes but when the fire is up to heat it will go away.
