Oh I am getting so excited at the thought that after 5 years we will have all these shops just down the road and a bar and restaurant near enough to stagger home .

We were told when we were buying that there was going to be a cinema and an outdoor theatre but have heard no more since. I think if everything we heard of being there comes true it will have to be a multi multi storey

never heard that one Bev .first it was going to be church and gardens. then as it seems to be now.Garden would have been nice but church bells would be hell.i think what they are saying will be good for the area. Tiggys that would be good.

Last week the weather was very hot. This week is cooler but sunny with a breeze, just about right.

Had a lovely week last week meeting all the PP guys. Malcolm arrived Sunday, but hoping to still meet up with one or two PP firends this week.

You take care in that there Penine Village and I will try to send you some sunshine, better still I will send some back with Malcolm when he returns next week.

Nearer the time we will have to sort out how many people are interested, then one of us can pop in and book a table - it gets busy in summer time, and we may not get in otherwise.

I must say, I'm impressed with Pafilia (no, I do not have any links with the company ), I sent my new best friend Nicolas an email on Wednesday night, Thursday they were on holiday, and I have had a reply this morning! Please see below

Yes , all amenities will be available to all non residents

So looks like we're on folks! - very good news.

Jean - Good news non residents can use the facilities.

All Universaliarians - perhaps we can sort something out for August when we are out, as we will miss the August Taverna night and it would be good to meet some of the 'friends' I've met recently.

Thats good news Jean from your new best friend, we thought it was going to be a gated community, although I think these new shops wouldn't survive with just the residents shopping.

I would be up for a meet in Pambis too, but if possible before 15 June when I go home. Perhaps it could be a regular thing every couple of months?

Should we start a new post for those interested in meeting up at Pambis Diner and the dates that folk are here so we can arrange a meet when we can get as many as possible Universal (owners) attending?

This will be open to everyone - of course - but Pambis is not a big place so it will be first come first gets a bum on seat.

We need to check on how many seats it can cater for too.

I can't undertake the organisation at the moment due to work commitments but I can assist in a couple of weeks.

So calling any volunteers please??

Lots and lots of apartments, and expensive they are too! Just check on the Pafilia website. However, on the website or in the brochure there is no mention of the amenities, hence my email to Pafilia. And my new best friend Nicolas . This will be very handy for us all, and we may have to request that the bar on there is called Paphos People!
