Hi All We need quite a serious repair to one of our cars , and a person suggested / recommended a garage called " A.K Garage " British owned and run , just off the top end of the Mesio Road . But someone else then said , not so good ??? Anyonme have experience with them , good or bad , as this job will cost quite a bit and we want it done right . Thanks for any reviews Les |

All repairs to our cars were done by a 'mobile mechanic' whom we trusted to be honest and reliable. That was till he took months to get a job done claiming he was waiting for parts (I have a third vehicle so wasn't in a hurry) then delivering the car back with a bad oil leak and damage to the interior. The car went back and was eventually returned with stuff stolen from it plus a hundred extra kilometres on the clock and signs that it had been used to transport goods or materials of some kind. The day after we got it back, it failed to start so we had it taken to Tony at AK Autos. He diagnosed the problem as being the part we'd been waiting for all the time and was supposed to have been replaced by the previous guy. Tony ordered and fitted the part within a few days but spent a lot of time repairing the various inherited bodges. Since then both vehicles have been serviced by AK Autos and have been returned on time, in good condition with proper plastic seat protectors and without grease all over the steering wheel and doors etc. I will certainly continue to use and recommend him to friends. |

We recently were hit by another driver and we were advised to take it to ABC in Geroskipou on the industrial estate behind Debenhams. He did a very good repair and lent us a car while it was in his garage as we only have the one car. Definately would recommend him to anyone. |

Hi Guys Thanks for the input and advise I think we wil get a quote from both and see how they see the problem, and how they propose to undertake the repairs , with timeframe then decide . Les |

Don't know AK, but I do know Barry (Panicos) of ABC at Geroskipou. A good guy, one of the best. Even has an oven on his premises to bake the car after painting (assuming that bodywork painting is required). Though Barry is good, I tend to use Leon, about 400m along the same road, as Barry is always 'too busy' to carry out any paint jobs I want doing :) He's brilliant as well. |

Hi damaged mine quiet a while ago. Lady at Abbeygate gave me number for Barry at ABC cars. Did a brilliant job, and sprayed the rest of my car for a little bit extra. Lovely fellow, nice to deal with. Don't have tel but lady at Abbeygate could give it to you. Richard |

You don't say if it is a mechanical repair or bodywork,If mechanical I would recommened Tony at A&K. I use him on a regular basis and have not been disapointed. A first class job at a reasonable price. For bodywork I have used a garage at the bottom end of the Mesogi industrial estate which were recommended by Atlantic Insurance and are also very good. |

Hi All Well we took our car to AK Auto's , and yes you guys were right , we were told that the job needing to be done was major and would be very expensive , but after they took the car and did a complete check found it needed a few small parts , ( Still came to 400 Euros ) , but pleased as punch . So yes they are good and honest as well . Good on them , we will be back when we need anything done Les |
