Pam & Julie - Third time lucky for me too. There must be something in that - we'll have been married 13 years in December, although we were friends for several years before lurve blossomed.

We have just celebrated our 40th Anniversary on 23rd March this year and we had a lovely day with the family.

We met when my friend got me to go to a dance class with her since she wanted to learn how to do ballroom dancing. I have two left feet but did my best and this lad of 19 was helping the teacher since he had been dancing for years and he was told to lead me in a waltz. He was polite enough not to tell me that I made a hopeless dancer but we became a couple. I was 19 when we married and he was almost 21 and here we are still together. I gave up on the dancing years ago but our youngest daughter Vicky is like her Dad and they do look great when they occasionally dance together.
We were from Bury, Manchester then but have lived in Southport for 32 years now. Not counting the years we have lived in the MIddle East for work.
Three grown children and six grandchildren and we are very blessed. We also cared for my Mum for 18 years and have no regrets.
