Hello

We have 2 x 2 seater settees that have been stored in our shed and now need to go to the local dump..
Does any one know where we can go, for a man with a van, to get these items removed from our driveway?
We live in Peyia

Many thanks

Maybe MAD can help, he was after something similar for garden waste disposal.

Leave 'em by your nearest Green Big.

If you live on a through road, just move them to the pavement outside your house and they will probably disappear very quickly.

If they don't go, then look for plan B.

A neighbour of ours was having a new bed delivered and put their old one out on the street and it was taken before they even got the new bed up to the room.

There are still plenty of people around who live in poverty and would welcome anything like that.

Great idea...but we love on a very quiet residential street on a private road
So hardly any passing traffic sadly

The Municipality will do 'special' collections of furniture etc for free if you contact them...just not 'green' waste

Subject to condition, some of the charity shops would collect

Asked at municipality ...it was our first port of call...apparently they have stopped doing the special collection service for household goods

Doesn't matter where you live. When I lived in Emba in a not busy road, I put loads of items out, and all were gone in a matter of hours! There are people who go touring round the streets (all streets), and are happy to take whatever they see.
