I believe Cyta do a dongle, but according to my tenants they want a €500 deposit  That's about all I know, cos my tenants decided they'd carry on using places with wifi access.

Me neither! I had Greek TV for the first 12 months I was here, but had my phone line installed and broadband after a month!

I guess by a dongle you mean a 3g card or modem? (Dongle means something different to me as our company uses them for software security purposes)

You might also want to contact the mobile operators themselves:

MTN's website is http://www.mtn.com.cy and their general email address is: [email protected]
CYTA/Vodacom's is http://www.cyta.com.cy and their email is done from within the site itself.

Assuming you mean the web sites, there's a little button towards the top right of each of them which says "English". It's very easy to miss though!

Both MTN and CYTA do a dongle based internet system, you don't need a deposit , depending on area your speed will vary . monthly cost is between 30 -40 euros . Sorry I am a bit vague, by pure chance I am doing the research for myself today . The websites are none too clear . I will know more after a few days .

ps OMG I have just realised i have replied to a year old post !!

Yes, you do need a deposit if you are a tenant - if you are a homeowner (regardless of whether you live in the property) you do not need a deposit.
