Post subject:  Good VPN for WRT54GL Router?

I have a Linksys WRT54GL router flashed with DDWRT firmware.
I am looking for a VPN to install on it, paying a reasonable Subscription to use it.
I was looking at both Le VPN and Nord VPN Open VPNs but their installation
instructions are both onerous.
I want a reliable VPN that is EASY (for a simpleton like me) to install.
All suggestions welcomed.
Please note I not interested in Smart DNS options as these are usually IP sensitive, and I would want to use the router in various locations, including back home near Tel Aviv, all with different IP Numbers.
Thanks,
Amos.

FWIW Smart DNS is easily changed to use different IP addresses if you apply it at the PC rather than at the router or modem. It's just a matter of logging into their web site and checking a box to update the IP. It will work with several devices.

Some service providers, notably the BBC, are wise to the use of VPNs and will block them.

Many thanks for that KG. I will look at using Smart DNS method, certainly much easier to
program the router that way.
Which Smart DNS provider would you recommend?
Amos.

I use the one called SmartDNS - https://www.smartdnsproxy.com I have found it reliable and the after sales service is good. I have it running on five devices to watch live TV from BBC iPlayer, ITV Player and All4.

Thank you KG. Which Smart DNS server location do you use? The setup instructions talk about Static DNS settings 1, 2, and 3 but the Smart DNS location list only gives one for each location, not 3 (?). Or do you select the 3 locations nearest to you?
Amos.

Small world indeed. I bought mine locally in Cyprus as none were available in Tel Aviv at the time.

I don't think it matters much, but I use Israel as primary and Italy as secondary.
