MAG 250 box, subtitles language

I have a friend who lives in Paphos who uses a MAG 250 box to watch films on video club.
The question is:-……is it possible to change the subtitles on a film from Greek to English? I don’t have this system so can’t help……anyone?

When you switch the subtitles on, you get a list of available languages. For me it is invariably in English.

I'm guessing that your friend doesn't have a UK supplied box?

Correct Effsie...Cyprus purchased.
Thanks Neil...they were hoping the box would be 'standard' 'international' with the language options

I have a Mag 250 box and when it has booted up at the bottom of the screen are the main menus and it defaults to the TV setting.
Move the arrow to the right until you reach Settings: VideoClub - Radio - Settings. Click OK on Settings.
From the drop down menu select Playback.
On the list of headings labelled: Primary audio language, Secondary audio language, Primary Subtitle language and Secondary subtitle language scroll through the options and select English for each one.

I also have the subtitle size set on Small because on some of the older films it isn't possible to remove the subtitles using the Mode button on the remote control.

Click on OK to save the new settings. (takes you back to the Settings screen). Click on the home button on remote control and left arrow until you are back to the TV default setting).

Not sure if this actually answers the OP question but this is how mine was set up by Computer SOS.
