I have a PC and run W7 on it, I had bought the original disc and installed it.
It is registered with Microsoft in my name, Cyprus address etc.
Question:
Can I also install it on a second PC or laptop which I also own?
Thanks,
Geoff.

Geoff, I believe the way it works is, when you buy windows you are not paying for the software or the cd you are actually purchasing the rights to use the software on 1 computer and you should purchase an extra 1 for every computer unless you buy a bussiness version which may be used on 10 or 20 computers. ok that is the theory. I found that you can install and activate the os on many computers, well that was the case with xp back in the days when xp was current and fully supported. So give it a try
Louis
PS They were all my computers and all registered in my name, all details the same. maybe if you tried activating the second copy in a different name it would fail.
