Post subject:  Mag250 Upgrade Problem
The upgrade dated 13 November 0.2.18 -r8-250 has created problems for the box and a solution is being worked on by infomir. I am experiencing freezing and stutters and were blaming the ISP.

I updated my mag250 to the version dated 13th Nov , last week and have had no problems , still perfect .

How do you update a mag box mine works fine most of the time did not know you had to update them would be grateful for any information

Hi Gillian,
With mine a message came up onscreen that an update was available and to click ok, but since then I have had problems , so waiting for the fix.

the means to upgrade the firmware is in settings - software update

Thank you for that we use ntv most of the time it's good, some days you can not watch it for about 15 minuets should I do it or leave it alone.

In view of what problems stormy has posted I would leave it alone for now.

spookily enough i tried mine this morning and it wouldnt do anything - but then i think it may detect that my firmware is uptodate

I just noticed on my mag250 that there is another update available dated 5th Dec , I have not gone for it yet .

NTV HAVE JUST DONE SOME SERIOUS SERVER MAINTENANCE AND ADDED A LOT OF NEW HD QUALITY SPORTS CHANNELS...... IN PLACE OF BEIN

A lot of the channels now have (Russian?) programme guides beside them and Gold seems to have gone.

Did the update earlier today. Cured all my mag250 problems. Bingo :woohoo

just had the Dec 2014 upgrade made available to me - so its sorted now
