Hi, I'm coming over to Paphos for a couple of weeks soon. In the past I've tried to watch the BBC iplayer in the evenings without luck. I hear that I need a proxy IP address ? Can anyone recomend a good company ? I have an Ipad to watch it on. Thanks. |

You don't need to use iplayer - if you have broadband, just go to www.filmon.com - you can watch lots of UK programmes on there in SD for free!!! I used it all the time before I moved back to the UK.

Film On is also ok, you can also get up to 10 hours free recording on Film On when you register with them. You can then download the recording and keep it for ever. I am sure that it is completely illegal! I am building up a nice collection of The Simpsons! |

I use Hotspot VPN which I have found to be very reliable and costs about £20 a year and can be used on up to 5 devices I think. |

Just adding here as well to help a few people that are paying for "smart DNS" or VPN's Just change your DNS settings to 178.62.17.123 and iPlayer works a treat. I followed this guide to change my DNS settings http://www.plus.net/support/software/dn ... ows7.shtml Appears to work with ITV player as well, have been using it for the last few months totally FREE |
