The TV I brought out with me had Freesat. I have not used it in the UK but thought I would give it a stab here. I was not expecting anything to work and indeed it could not find the Astra sat.

Is there anyway that I can get the TV to look for it? I think it has something to do with the TV thinking it is in the UK and I will have to convince it otherwise!!!!

The answer to your question is.NO it will not work over here.You will have to buy either nile sat box and set up or route through a computer for Film on etc,you will need broadband though.

I thought as much. I have got a motorised dish set up and that is perfectly ok. My uk progs come through Filmon on an android box.
