As you can see from the subject title, I'm now splitting my time in both countries.

I have Cytanet here in Paphos while my girlfriend subscribes to Holitec.

When I return to the UK very shortly, I would like to set up a broadband provider that I don't have to take out a long term contract and one that I can 'switch off' when I return to Cyprus.

Can anyone advise me? Does anyone have a similar situation?

Thanks for your help

Mick

In the UK I stay with my mother who doesn't have broadband at all. The solution for me was to buy a MiFi. It's been brilliant and works everywhere (including the camper van wherever I go). I can charge it from mains or the computer, and as it's pay as you go I only pay for the time I use it, which works out for 3GB to about £6/month. You can buy more data space or time as you want. I got mine from 3 network.

Lesley - thanks for the advice.

When I Googled this I found that for 3 months of 3G it costs £59-99. Where did you get the £6 per month?

For clarification see: http://www.three.co.uk/Discover/Devices ... embbrbn717

It costs 59.99 at the outset which includes the purchase of the little white doodah. Once you have the doodah and have used up the month/3gb it costs just under £20 for another three months further use. You just keep topping up as you need to. You can get them on Amazon as well I believe.
