On my profile I can't see the groups that I am a fan of. For example, Paphos People, is there a tab I need to create?

If you hit the Profile Button Top right. Then there are tabs press the Info tab. Near the bottom of the page there are favourite page listed - PP FB page is listed under there.

Hope you follow that.

Thanks Ali.. My Pages only shows 4, I then have to click to see All, so now all ok.

It would be better on a separate tab so I can see all of them but I guess that's a FB issue.

BTW there are some lovely pictures on FB Paphos People but no one has tagged the pictures. Any reason not to?



Also... I have blocked lots of Applications from my News Feed because not too long ago a very bad virus was circulating via one of these applications between FB friends. I also find that these applications fill up the News Wall thingy & I then have missed great posts.
Does anyone else do this?

Ho do you block certain apps from news feed?. I dont play lots of these games like farmville yet get innundated with feeds about them, any help anyone, pleeeeeassse?!!

On the right hand side of the post, hover with the mouse and a small window appears saying ... Hide ... click it and it should ask .. Hide the person or hide the application - click application. Keep doing this for all the different applications and eventually they will stop appearing - until that is a new application that people start using.

If it only has hide the person as an option then it's not an application (I guess) so you can't then do much about it, accept if you do want to hide the person.

Maybe someone with more knowledge can say more about these applications, however as far as I know they are not developed by Face Book & some may not be trustworthy.

I do have some people hidden but not because they are not my friends but only because they post using f*&%$ etc & have a nephew to think about.

Also people should check & update their privacy settings as FB changed it that most/all is visiable to all and not just your friends.

Apologises, for Mafia Wars It does make you post a lot while your playing. But that's the only I do. That a Fluff friends, but that doesn't make you post anything.

Most of the apps are ok to use. Just be sensible before trying a new one ie do you know a few people using the app and have they been using it for a while. Also do a search on the apps, if there's fan pages and stuff like that it's more likely to be genuine game/app.

Beware for silly little games, they can get you hook and waste far too much time on them.
