Hi
We have Nilesat.
For a week or so now City 7 has been stating that on the 1st february they will move their channel to Nilesat 101.
I have tried to get this today on 101, It is Oman TV2, not City 7.
I have also scanned through the other 492 channels to no avail.
Has anyone got any info how to get this channel or has it completely disappeared like Euronews did?

I've got Showtime which comes in via the Nilesat 7.0W satellite and I have just had to rescan everything because of the Orbit/Showtime merge, and I have both City7 and Euronews. I'm by no means an expert of Satellite TV, but the details my decoder gives for both these channels is as follows:

City7: 11977/V/27500, Video PID/210, Audio PID/310, PCR PID/210
Euronews: 12015/V/27500, Video PID/1390, Audio PID/1391, PCR PID/1390

Hope that makes more sense to you than it does to me!

Mine's gone too!!! It was fine yesterday, but gone today - no messages have been coming on the screen - I used to like City7 cos you got some of the old Australian "soaps" on it . . . . .

I'M UPSET NOW!!!!!

Hi thanks Ive done it now.

If you press the menu button, find Instalation, then click on Autoscan.
This will take a few minutes as it scans for all the channels.
I ended up with another 150 channels.
Then scroll through each channel and add the missing ones, and others that have English being spoken on it by using the on screen instructions.

Additional channels found after rescan and Showtime state that HD channels are available , just need to trade in the satbox.

Yes, but we've now lost Hallmark channel which was always a good backup for when there was nothing else on!
