Earlier in the year I was looking for a portable oxygen machine and there were two secondhand machines advertised for sale at the time. One was truly portable and looked like a shoulder bag (was accepted on some airlines) and the other was wheeled around on a trolley similar to hand luggage. However, one was from the UK and the other from China and there were no back up facilities in Cyprus. I decided to buy a new machine from Procopiou Medical Supplies opposite Paphos General Hospital as they have a technician/service centre in Limassol and the machine has a two year guarantee. It is the type that can be stood on its own or wheeled along on a trolley, can be run from a car battery as well as mains electric and also comes with a rechargeable battery. Cost approx €1300.00. |
