Is there an issue with using this item in Cyprus e.g. type of paint it can spray?

You can check out the gun on google with regards the type of paints you can use with the gun. I brought it over with the intention of spraying the spritz walls of our villa, I soon realised that it is probably best to get in the professionals to do the job. I only come over for the odd week here and there and don't want to spend all of my holiday time painting. I am also in Tala if you wanted to have a look at the sprayer. Call me.

No sorry, just curious as to you selling it so soon after buying it.

Considered spraying as an option myself, but after viewing the subject on Google, decided that the time spent masking areas + the amount of 'wind drift' of paint whilst spraying wasn't the best way forward.

Went for the tried & trusted option of brush & roller.

It's still a trial whichever you use, I painted a wall section then rested, repeated until complete.

As you say probably best left to the professionals!

Thanks Topgun.The next time I need help selling something I don't have the time to use, I'll be sure to ask you to post your opinion first. I don't think you need to post negative comments on here because you don't like an item. Maybe just stick to your roller and brush !

Thank you to everyone who read my ad. I have now returned to the UK, therefore the sprayer is no longer available until my next visit. Thank you also to Topgun for his invaluable advise !!!
I do hope he receives similar opinions should he ever want to sell anything on here. I will keep my eyes peeled just in case.

In my opinion it is always better that a buyer understands exactly what he is getting for his money.
Buying something in haste without considering the pro's & cons usually results in disappointment.

This forum is used to inform people before, which is all I have done based upon what other users have said. Having their views from a first-hand practical standpoint certainly helped me to come to a decision.

I've found that Cyprus is a place where you have to be doubly cautious.
People can still choose to buy, or not to buy - caveat emptor!

Given you're reaction, I think others will recognise & remember.
