From private collection 3 of 4 bottles (keeping one) of the legendary Bowmore 25 Years Moonlight Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Seagull Label blue Ceramic 70cl Bottle …a bargain at €1,000…read on…

Product No.: 31-10276 : EAN-No.: 5011333000723
Manufacturer No.: BOWMORE25YMOON : Years: 25 : Vol.: 43,00 %

EXTREMELY RARE and limited version of a legendary whisky from Bowmore!

This Seagull blue ceramic bottling by Buchan from Bowmore is now very rare; collectable and very hard to find. Nicknamed the Moonlight the rather pretty blue ceramic bottle and box, this 25 year old Bowmore appeared in the mid 1990s and has achieved almost mythic status itself, being made up entirely of long-aged casks from the legendary 1960s vintages. A magnificent dram, bursting with rich tropical flavours - one of the all-time and very rare classics from the Bowmore distillery.

•Nose: rich, yet subtle, on dried fruit and tea. Tropical fruit (guava, passion fruit). The peat arrives after a while. Some pepper as well. Develops on strawberry jam, apricot, kiwi. Great nose!
•Palate: great balance, between peat and fruit. Lots of acidic fruit notes (passion fruit). Quite spicy (cinnamon, clove) with some linseed oil.
•Finish: very nice finish with good length - indicates the quality of an old Bowmore!
•Colour: golden orange
•Type: Single Malt Whisky - Distillery Bottling
•Cask Wood Type Sherry
•District: Islay / Location: Rothes
•Vintage: late 60s / 70s
•Age 25 year old

I have manage to get a final bottle of this amazing whisky from the original private collector who has decided to move back to the UK

Anyone fancy something special for Christmas / New Year? or maybe just lay it down as an investment

I like to collect Malts , but I set my top price limit way, way below that for obvious reasons , it is worth every penny,
but it out of my league ..

This bottle is indisputably NOT a fake. Full provenance available

EVERYTHING can be faked…..from Cyprus potatoes in Greece to fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls in Israel
