Yeah, yet another week of getting nothing from nothing, having players who don't know which side they're suppose to be playing for & other who don't care too :(

The league table makes interesting reading.
In your last 6 games you've scored 2 goals and conceded 17  and you've picked up 2 points.
There's always one team that gets sucked into it and it looks like it's gonna be you. Don't be surprised though cos I've been telling you for months that it could happen

Based on yesterdays performance they deserve to be relegated.

Stormy,
I really don't think that will happen. They are within reach now of some of the teams at the bottom but I don't think Fulham or Reading will overhaul them.
They've got some big games coming up and just maybe now, some of their deluded followers may accept what we've known for a long time........ They're nowt special.

From what I understood of Andy Gray's final comments on Sky about Viduka being left on the bench, I would say he ( that is Gray) has heard that KK and Viduka have had a fall out.
Could be just the start cos I've always said KK is an honest sort of bloke but he has an ego as well.
I mean if he thinks Viduka isn't doing it then why is he on the bench?
And if he's on the bench why isn't he used ?
By the way my team won this weekend and our second goal is a contender for goal of the season.

Aye, Viduka sat there with a face like a smacked backside so it doesn't look like all is well, especially as Smith was having a shocker.

At least Martins is back now - we've been desperately missing his pace, and the fact he's the one striker we have who can create something out of nothing.

Toattly inept, gutless performance - the players should be ashamed to pick up their over-inflated wages again!!!

The main cuplrits are Beye, Carr, Cacapa, Barton (please jail him Mr Judge!), Duff (powder Duff!) and Smith, Bring on the kids and let's see some passion!

Could not care less about the Viduka argument - he is another waste of space.

JTS, are you a makem by any chance :? if so, DP will be so glad there are more than one of you on here

As for those over paid, waste of space players we currently have at the TOON, they should all be ashamed of playing that way & either pull there fingers out or don't wear the Black & White again :x

I can honestly say the only one I thought deserved to wear the colours was Milner, he play with his heart & tried his best, even if he was the only one, as for Carr, what the hell was KK thinking putting him on the left, he crap on the right, so what chance as he on the left, nowt

Beye was probably still suffering from traveling back in which case KK shouldn't have played him, same as Faye, left on the bench

If we don't start getting some points, we're really gonna suffer these next few weeks & relegation isn't that far off & god help us if the makems over take us too

Come on KK, start working that magic & sot out that :!: :!: defence :!: :!:

Pete,

This site is going to wrack and ruin - 2 Mackems on board - must be just like a home game for them!

JTS About time mate,
Welcome aboard.
I've said before that one Mackem is worth Ten Geordies so now JTS is on board the fight's not fair, we'll walk all over you. 8)
LF9 I find your reference to our crowd a bit insulting. There were 43,600 there and the opposition were hardly crowd pullers. That's a good crowd for a team who has been at the bottom as long as we have (all season)Another thing, at our lovely red aerodynamic stadium the crowd actually get behind the team, no matter how crap we are !
Let's see if that happens at Sid James Park over the coming weeks.
If the crowd turn on KK what will he do?
And Pete, your comment about " God help us if the Mackems overtake us" highlights one of the things wrong with your club. You all think you are something special and you are not. If the Mackems overtake you it'll be cos we've won more games than you.
I'm not saying that will happen and my only concern is finishing out of the bottom three not finishing above you lot.
We have some hard games in our run in and so do you. If KK does not improve things you will have a twitchy a**e as the season draws to an end.
And remember We are visiting you on April 19th. 8)
Gary

Hey Gary,

I was looking at the table today & see you're only 2 points behind us now & as we play Man Usa next, if you will, you'll be ahead of us, which I know you will love & will won't to gloat over, so feel free mate, we'll understand   we wouldn't expect anything else :D :D :D

It won't happen next weekend though Pete.

Roger mate,

I wish & pray that we'll win every game but sometime's we just have to be real with ourselves & accept that some games are way out of our reach, especially the way we're playing these days

Don't get me wrong tho, I'm a TOON till I die & really can't wait for this season to end, just so we can just start afresh & hopefully Ashley will give KK the funds to get us back on our feet again :D :D

I fancy us to get something too - remember last season, New Year's Day? Man U came to town with us in the middle of a massive injury crisis - we put out a back 4 with Edgar, Huntington and Ramage in it and came away with a 2-2 draw, and were unlucky not to snatch it - expect the unexpected, it's the Newcastle way!

Pete

HEEEEERRRREEEEE'SSSS JOHNNY

Just joined your new venture and couldn't resist joining in on this one.

Bit suprised at your comment about getting hammered the last time you played Man Utd, wasn't it you who thought it was actually a 1-1 draw and not a 6-0 drubbing???

Seriously, I think you still have major problems within the club and could get worse before you get better. I don't think you will go down, just because there are only a few games left and there is at least one team who are worse than you lot (Derby and Fulham are a given to go down).

According to the papers today King Kev has told Ashley he wants Beckham and Ronaldinho as his first two signing's. Ashley has refused to back him until they are safe from relegation but has said he does not want expensive imports who will not have a long term future for the club. At least one of them is still talking sensibly then.

As Jimmy Greaves once said football's a funny old game and Roger could be right (for once), you could get something out of this weekend's game.

Man Utd stuffed the Gooners at a canter yesterday, they have a European Game midweek, they may just treat your game a bit too lightly and give you a chance.

As you know know Spurs have yet another weekend without a league game as we have the little matter of a cup final on Sunday. Hopefully we will have a steady match against Prague on Thursday and not suffer any injuries.

Regards.

John

Hi John,

Good to see you again mate, been a while since our last encounter & I bet you missed every minute

Yeah we got a good stuffing & not only from the likes of Man U but every team since, not been a great season & I hope that we've turned the corner & are able to get some points to save us from a fight at the end

Not seen anything abouts Becks & Ron coming to us but have seen that MA will back KK to the tune of £50m in the summer, so doubt either of those will be coming, I say get some decent english chaps in & buy a solid ground before spending silly money of as beens like those 2 :D

Well I hope to have more friendly banter with you soon & btw, I just love your signature mate, I thought you supported the Spurts

Not sure about what you're on about Gary but Mike Ashley actually owns SJP, he's paid off all the debts pertaining to the club, including the ground, so mate we (SJP) is completely debt FREE :D :D

Can you say that about the Stade de Fright

I think you are misinformed Pete. I may be wrong but I understand that you do not own Sid James full stop.
You are in a relegation fight as we stand don't be deluded

What makes you think that Ashley doesn't now own SJP :?

Why do you think he would spend all the money of SJP & not own the ground itself :?

I am informed that Newcastle United do not and have never owned Sid James Park. Whether that means the land it is built on or not I do not know but I will look into this. Perhaps CF can chip in ?
Gary
In a recent debate about this on a Sunderland website, the Geordies involved in the debate accepted the fact that the club don't own the land. :?:

All that I know is, the debt we had was for the club :o

As for the land, I don't think any club actually owns the land their stadium is built on  I think that is owned by the government  but I could be wrong :D

Technically the land SJP is built on is owned by Newcastle Council, but there's not much chance of them withdrawing permission to use it any time soon!

Well that's why they've never extended the east side of the ground, isn't it, cos the council won't let them ?

Nah, that's because of Leazes Terrace, the uni hall of residence right behind the East Stand - it's a Grade 2 listed building so sadly we're not allowed to knock it down to fuel our ground expansion plans! :(

Wouldn't care, but it's only being used by students anyway, surely no-one would miss them??

Heard an interesting romour on Friday for all you Toon fans (Pete and Roger).

Ashby is less than pleased with the impact Mr Keegan has so far made (can't understand why), It seems one of the key reason's Ashby brought him in was to motivate the team for the rest of the season, something he has totally failed to do.

If Newcastle do not win tonight then the story is Mr Keegan will be moved up and that nice Jimmy Krankie (Dennis Wise) to those who don't know him will get the Managers seat until the end of the season when the Toon will go for some up and coming Spanish Manager, possibly Marcelino or something like that, for next year.

Even by Newcastle standards this must be hitting a new low if it happens.

No pressure on the team tonight then is there?

Regards.

john

It's real brown-trousers time now :( Wigan and Reading have both hit a bit of form at the right time, even Fulham look like putting up a fight....

Absolutely bricking it ahead of the match tonight now - would take a draw right now if it was offered....

Let me be the first to comment. We are all not at the bottom for nothing. I have watched poor footy for a long time but that last night was shocking.
If that's the best Brum can offer at home they are still in trouble. They were clueless and lacked urgency. That the toon couldn't beat them sums them up too. That must be the easiest away game they'll have all season. If anyone was going to win it was toon but they too were garbage.
This morning in The Mail Keegan continues to do what most geordies do and ignore the obvious whilst giving a deluded rant. Today's is that Owen is still World Class.
Viduka was poor and I thought toon were strolling through the game and not putting any effort in.If they had upped the ante they would have taken the three points.
My team would have beaten Brum and toon combined on the same pitch. There you are !
Gary
