Two friends and I tried to buy tickets (for the first three England games) on the first day that the World Cup website allowed us to but failed to get any ticket allocation at all. We were told that all England tickets were sold immediately and no more would be available. Probably just as well as I hear the prices of flight tickets, hotel prices etc have gone through the roof even if you were lucky enough to find any!

Looks like we'll either be watching on TV in UK or in a bar somewhere in Paphos!
