Just heard on SSN that he won on a points desicion, without knocking the guy out, suppose to have been his toughest fight so far in his short career

This is the sort of fght he needs to progress up the world rankings, he needs to be taken the distance just to increase his fighting ability or he'll come up against someone who can do the distnace & have the power to knock him out, bit like Prince Nassem did in the end

It really was his toughest fight yet and the only one he has gone the full 12 rounds. On the 7th round he looked a little tired but went the distance pacing himself and not his usual knockout style.

Met him a couple of years ago at a concert and my daughter asked could she have her photo took with him, no problem whatsoever, he is such a nice, grounded young man.

Sorry just saw the headline and I assumed (wrongly) it was an observation on the inter forum discussions.

But the Amir fight was class, he rose to the occossion, grew into it and I think exposed a few weaknesses to himself and his team for future fights.
